All We Need In Him

Struggle is something all humans experience—its woven into the fabric of our lives. Yet, amid hardship, where do we seek solace? Some look to the comforting embrace of a friend, others to the steadfast presence of family, a beloved pet, or fleeting distractions that promise temporary relief. Still, none of these sources offer the unwavering, eternal comfort found in the arms of our Creator.

Life presents countless reasons to be anxious. Even with the truth of God’s Word at our fingertips, facing each day can feel like a relentless battle. The very definition of struggle is "striving to achieve or attain something in the face of difficulty or resistance"—reveals its inherent challenge. Yet, when we find ourselves engulfed in hardship, why do we so often hesitate to turn to God? Is He not capable of healing our deepest wounds? Is His love not vast enough to encompass our pain?

The truth is profound: God loves each of us with an unchanging, immeasurable love—no less for you than for anyone else in this world. His affection is not reserved for a select few; it extends equally to all humanity. The person you admire and the one you find hardest to forgive are both enveloped in that same divine love. Even the vilest of sinners are not beyond His reach. Jesus did not lay down His life for one, but for all. We are the reason the nails pierced His hands, the crown of thorns adorned His head, and the cross bore His weight. Yet, despite our failings, He chose sacrifice to offer us redemption.

So, why should we hesitate to rely on Him? While surrendering control is often easier said than done, God gives us every reason to trust Him. His love is unchanging, His presence unwavering. No one is beyond His care, no struggle too insignificant or too vast.

It’s a common misconception that having everything this world offers—wealth, status, comfort—equates to having it all. But without Jesus, those things are hollow. Conversely, possessing nothing but Christ means having everything. As cliché as it may sound, God truly is all we need. In Him, we find not only someone who listens to every burden we bear but also the One with the power to heal, restore, and redeem.

Jesus surpasses everything this world can offer. He is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent. There is nothingbeyond His grasp, no circumstance beyond His control. With Him, you lack nothing. Trust in His provision, rest in His love, and embrace His salvation. In Christ, you are never alone, never forsaken—and with Him, you have more than enough.
